World and dozens of articles. He was a Vice Chairperson (2057-2059 BS) and Chairperson (2059-2061) of
Dang District Court Bar Association. Currently he is a general member of Supreme Court Bar Association.

Ms. Shrestha is a highly experienced criminal defense lawyer with a strong track record of over 15 years in Nepal’s legal system. She earned her LLB from Nepal Law College and completed her LLM in Criminal Law from Chakrabarti Habi Education Academy, affiliated with Purbanchal University. Since 2010, Kopila has worked with the International Legal Foundation, where she successfully led the defense in more than 500 criminal cases, advocating for fair trial rights and due process. Her expertise spans across serious criminal matters, including homicide, narcotics, gender-based violence, and juvenile justice. Currently, she is a core member of Kathmandu Law Associates, where she continues to provide dedicated legal representation and strategic defense in complex criminal cases.
